Alon also when you get a chance can you make this Zoom in layers you made for me, zoom, pan and scale to scale back and forth to the end of the timeline, every 15, 30 or 60 seconds. Maybe even a custom box would love to see it zoom in and out every minute or even 15 seconds.
Also how do i match a comp duration to a layer timeline in. Iāve been using your program even learning coding through your program, just was wondering how to do certain things so that i donāt have to bother you. I got alot of things i would just love to do. I really think Automation Toolkit is a quick and easy way of getting to learn Java Coding or anything else.

I think you run the wrong automation (collect animation presets), the list should include only the name of the font and not the file paths,
it should look like this -

All worked out well except the collect fonts, it was just blank message box. You donāt have to have all the fonts. 5 to 10 random fonts would work out me. I did get you this list though you could add them all. What ever work works, what ever donāt work it donāt work. Im much happy with all you have done already any ways. But if you have another fill to give to collect the fonts i definitely try as well.

@zeekdaville , if you got a blank message box it probably means you didnāt run it in After Effects 24, are you sure you run it on AE 2024? it will not work on older versions.
currently it is the only way to get the correct font names of all the installed fonts.
This list will unfortunately not work.
(this method will work on older AE versions)
Here is another automation that collect all the fonts from the active composition -
- create a new composition.
- add as many text layers as you need (one for each font).
- set a different font for each text layer.
- run this automation to collect all the fonts.
This way you can choose the fonts you want to collect but it will take more time for a large list of fonts.

No i donāt have 24 yet had problems trying to install it but. Alon can you add Basic 3D to this instead of transformer. Wow i just want to say this Script here (Zoom in Layers v4) is a good script and I just love it. So i would love to know if you can add the effect Basic 3D. Also have these three properties Swivel, Tilt and Distance to Image. Hey even if you want to keep Transform on their too thatās good.
Also is it possible to turn a image, solid and text file into a 3d file. Also can you add a camera rig also?

Iām not familiar with an effect by the name of āBasic 3D.ā Is it an external plugin? If yes, which company sells it? Could you send me a link? I donāt understand what the properties Swivel, Tilt, and Distance refer to.
Iām not aware of a way to do that inside After Effects, and Iām also unsure what you mean by āadd a camera rigā.
If you want to do something specific, you can record yourself doing it in After Effects. This will help me understand the manual process, and Iāll try to automate it if possible.

Zachary, I didnāt forget you and sorry for the delay in my response, I had to think and work on that automation for a while to get it to work with the āBasic 3Dā Effect. I needed to create a complicated expression for a smooth 3d animation with all 3 properties combined which took some time.
I am almost done with the automation, I will send it here very soon.

Here is the Automation -
Auto Basic 3D Layers v1.zip (9.0 KB)
I think it works well now,
it has multiple options for layers automatic scaling, depends on the look you want to achieve,
- Fit Layers to Comp Size - resize every layer to cover the frame based on their ratio, it will choose automatically if the layer need to fit to comp width or height.
- 80% of Comp Size - it will resize all layers to fit inside the frame (80% of comp size), for more 3d effect.
- 50% of Comp Size - it will resize all layers to fit inside the frame (50% of comp size), for more 3d effect.
- Use Current Layer Size - donāt change the layer scale.
It adds the āBasic 3Dā effect, and add an expression for the āDistance to Imageā property, the expression make the Distance to automatically change based on the Tilt and Swivel, so if you tilt or swivel the image it will change the distance to the exact amount it needs to keep it in frame, it makes it look like a 3d camera moving around the image and not the image itself moving in 3d space which I think looks better.
it changes the swivel between -30 and 30 degrees randomly with a minimum of 20 degrees per animation.
it changes the Tilt between -13 and 13 degrees randomly with a minimum of 7 degrees per animation.
donāt use values greater than these because it will break the expression.

By any chance you canāt make a effects that takes 3 random property from a effect and animate it through out the timeline. You made me before that if i select effect property it randomly generate keyframes to the end of the timeline.

Also is their a way to make Auto Basic 3D Layers have more spin to it. Say if i have a Basketball or Soccer ball .png file and i want the 3d Basic to Spin the ball backwards and forward then spin back again. Is it possible i could type in the random minimum and random maximum spin or tilt value. Also on the Auto Basic 3D Layers is it possible to apply to one layer if itās selected instead of all.

Also can you also write a scripts that deletes all keyframe. I was trying to write a scripts that deletes all keyframes in a select Comp but its not working. I must be doing something wrong.
No, because as I said before each effect have different properties, so it will be impossible to make an automation that know which properties should be animated and what range of values or even the type of values.
Yes it is possible but you should note that it will look more chaotic if this is completely random.

What if you put a number value for each effect property instead of trying to find the name. Like Rotation would be 1, Scale would be 2 , Position would be 3 and so on. But having a sequence number value instead of trying to guess every plugin property name.
